Wade Harris is an illustrator and graphic designer located in the #1 city in the world — Charleston, SC.
Favorite quote: "The best way to predict the future is to invent it" — Alan Kay
Art was an important part of Wade’s life even at an early age. As a young artist growing up in a small farming community, Wade enjoyed working in pencils, pen & ink, pastels and watercolors. With limited art classes in the area he joined the high school magazine and newspaper where he refined his skills and talent in art. After high school, he attended the Art Institute of Atlanta where he studied graphic design and illustration. Upon graduation, he entered the world of commercial art.
In 1992, his commercial illustration career began while moonlighting t-shirt designs. During that time, he enjoyed a successful career as a graphic designer for an in-house marketing department. He moved to Charleston, SC in 1999, and worked in the luxury real estate industry as a designer/art director, where he was promoted to creative director. In 2007, Wade founded the graphic design & illustration business where he still works today for some of the world’s leading brands.
While growing up in a small town he developed a good work ethic and a good sense of humor. Wade credits faith and good family values for his success in commercial art, plus long hours working with really good people along the way. When he's not busy with graphic design and illustration projects, he enjoys spending time with his family along the sunny South Carolina coast.
